Hennepin Healthcare leaders recognized by Women’s Health Leadership TRUST

Three Hennepin Healthcare leaders are receiving Women’s Health Leadership TRUST Awards. The TRUST is an organization with a mission to recognize and support women leaders who work in the health care industry and Hennepin Healthcare is well-represented in their 2019 awards:

Theresa Pesch, RN, VP of Philanthropy and President of the Hennepin Healthcare Foundation, is receiving the 2019 Jean Harris Award. This prestigious annual award is given to those that support the vision of The TRUST to create healthier communities by realizing women’s leadership potential. It is named in honor of Jean Harris, who was a distinguished physician, politician and visionary with a long list of achievements.

Helen Kim, MD, Medical Director, Mother-Baby Program/Redleaf Center for Family Healing, is receiving a Leadership Award. This award celebrates a woman who is viewed by her team, peers, and superiors as an exceptional, imaginative, creative, and resourceful leader.

Susan Jepson, MPH, BSN, VP of Health Care Innovation is receiving an Innovation and Technology Award that honors innovative women who lead technological advances in health care that improve health outcomes and patient care.

The presence of three leaders on the select list of recipients is a point of pride for Hennepin Healthcare.  Pesch, Kim and Jepson will receive the honors at the 40th Anniversary Celebration of the Women’s Health Leadership TRUST Forum on Tuesday, April 9, 2019.
