HCMC Richfield Clinic to move to Market Plaza

The HCMC Richfield Clinic in the Hub Shopping Center is expanding and moving to Market Plaza at the corner of 66th St. and Lyndale Avenue this fall. The clinic will double in size and include a pharmacy in the new location.

“The current location has served our patients well for 20 years, but we’ve simply outgrown the physical space,” said Scott Wordelman, HCMC Vice President Ambulatory Care. “Staying in the community was a priority and the new location meets the needs of our current patients and allows for future growth.  It is very visible in the community and only two blocks away from our current location.”

Richfield Clinic will continue to offer convenient primary care and specialty services, extended hours and Saturday appointments, and free parking. The new site will include a full-service pharmacy to serve the needs of clinic patients and the rest of the community.

“As we add new community and neighborhood locations, like Golden Valley and St. Anthony Village where we opened clinics in recent years, we also want to improve our existing clinics where we have a loyal patient base and we are doing that in Richfield,” said Wordelman. “The Market Plaza location gives us the flexibility to respond to the health care needs of the community while providing room to do even more, like expand our Health Care Home program.”

The new clinic will offer Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Internal Medicine and Certified Nurse-Midwife care. Services will include laboratory, radiology, and pharmacy. Patients will also have access to Primary Care Behavioral Health, a new model that integrates behavioral healthcare services in the primary care setting.

The Richfield Clinic has been caring for the residents of Richfield, South Minneapolis, and the south metro area since 1996. For more information on providers and services, go to www.hcmc.org/Richfield.
