Joint pain, stiffness and swelling?

Rheumatoid arthritis is a systemic disease, meaning that it affects more than just the joints.

“Many different organs of the body can be affected,” explains rheumatologist Dr. Ronald Molony from HCMC’s Brooklyn Center Clinic.

“The most common joints affected are the smaller joints of the hands, the knuckles, wrists, feet and ankles. The good news is that there are many treatments for rheumatoid arthritis — and they are getting better.”
