HCMC joins Minnesota Department of Health to promote National Infant Immunization Week

One factor that seems to be affecting immunization rates is that parents today do not have experience with the diseases that vaccines prevent, so they underestimate the consequences of not vaccinating their children… Years ago, before vaccines, parents saw first hand the ravages of some of these diseases. So when the vaccines were developed, parents flocked to them.

On Monday, April 25, a news conference was held at Whittier Clinic in Minneapolis to promote the importance of immunizing children against preventable diseases.
