Hennepin Healthcare System, Inc. (HHS), the public subsidiary corporation that operates Hennepin County Medical Center (HCMC), and MVNA have signed an agreement to integrate their operations, effective Jan. 1, 2015.
MVNA is a provider of specialized services including home healthcare, community palliative care, family health services and other specialty home-based and community health services. Through its subsidiary, Hospice of the Twin Cities (HOTC), MVNA provides hospice services as well. Last year, MVNA and HOTC provided more than 80,000 visits to almost 19,000 clients. Continue reading

Suzanna de Baca is the newest member named to the Hennepin Healthcare System (HHS), Inc. board of directors, which operates Hennepin County Medical Center and its clinic services. De Baca is Vice President of Wealth Strategies at Ameriprise Financial, Inc.
Ms. de Baca has 20 years of experience in the financial planning and wealth management industry. Prior to joining Ameriprise Financial, she held senior level positions in several asset management firms.

Hennepin Healthcare System, Inc. (HHS), doing business as Hennepin County Medical Center, is a public corporation operated as a subsidiary of Hennepin County. Its purpose is to engage in the organization and delivery of health care and related services to the general public, including the indigent as defined by state and federal law as determined by the Hennepin County Board of Commissioners, and to conduct related programs of education and research.
A process is now under way to appoint up to five candidates to fill terms of between one and three years on the HHS Board of Directors, beginning in January 2013. Continue reading
